Since 1992 Josh Cook has been helping good people win. His clients have included Senators, Assemblymen, Members of Congress, homebuilders, industry associations, candidates, conservation and water NGOs, ballot measures, and Indian Tribes.
Cook previously served as Chief of Staff for the Minority Caucus in the California State Legislature.
His career includes advisory roles for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture and by the Secretary of the Interior, to the Bureau of Land Management. In 2025 Josh was appointed as a Regional Administrator in the U.S. EPA, by the President.
Cook has extensive experience working with federally recognized Indian Tribes, including a 26-year advisory role to the Mooretown Rancheria of Concow Maidu Indians.
He holds earned degrees from from Butte College, Charter Oak State College, and Cal State University, East Bay. Cook is a veteran having served nine years in the California State Guard, as a Chaplain Assistant, Staff Sergeant (E-6). His military awards include: California Commendation Medal, Professional Development Ribbon, Emergency Training Ribbon, Drill Attendance Ribbon, Volunteer Service Ribbon. Extensive emergency management and FEMA incident command training.
Josh and his wife Robin live in Chico and are the parents of five children.
